First Migraine

I was 21 and driving at night when I noticed the oncoming car lights caused a pain behind my left eye. This then proceeded to a pounding, pulsating headache, which was my first bad migraine, and I needed to see a doctor about it as the pain wouldn’t shift the next day. From there on I have suffered with migraines which are monthly around my menstruation and sometimes due to bright lights, tension etc.

  1. A first migraine while driving at night sounds particularly disconcerting, . You mention seeing a doctor the following day, where they able to help ease some of the pain / symptoms?

Also, I thought you might be interested in or appreciate this article about hormonal changes and migraine, https://migraine.com/migraine-triggers/hormonal-changes we you mention experiencing migraine related to menstruation. Do you take any medications for treating your migraine?
